Japan leave for UAE to prepare for World Cup qualifier against Bahrain


TOKYO: Japan's dismal goalless performances of late have cast a shadow over their World Cup campaign as they prepare for a qualifier against Bahrain next week. 

The Asian champions left yesterday for Abu Dhabi for three days of training ahead of their match against Bahrain in Manama on June 3. They then fly to Bangkok for their next qualifier against North Korea on June 8.
