Quick end to Sania’s French Open adventure

INDIA'S Sania Mirza saw her French Open debut suffer a quick and disappointing end yesterday when she was sent crashing to a 6-3, 6-3 first round defeat by Argentine 30th seed Gisela Dulko.

The 18-year-old Sania, who made history earlier this year by becoming the first Indian woman to make the third round of a Grand Slam event in the Australian Open and the first to capture a WTA tour event, was handed a tough 78-minute lesson by Dulko.
