PETALING JAYA: Former national skipper Datuk Soh Chin Aun was known as the “towkay” of Malaysian football in his heyday for the almost imperious manner in which he took charge in the heart of defence.
But after 15 competitive years (1969-84) of holding off some of the toughest goal getters in the business – like Kim Jae-han, Cha Beum-kun of South Korea and Kunishige Kamamoto of Japan – the Malaysian football legend is simply tired of the job.
