BATU KAWAN: Hometown hero Shahrul Nizam Tajuddin let slip the chance to chalk up his first victory in the Petronas Sprinta AAM Malaysian Cub Prix championships here yesterday.
The 26-year-old Shell Advance KF Yamaha ride, who hails from Nibong Tebal, was well on the way to the chequered flag in the third round of the championships when his machine suddenly stopped at the final corner.
