PETALING JAYA: Long jumper Mohd Syahrul Amri Suhaimi and triple jumper Ahmad Firdaus Salim qualified for the Manila SEA Games at the Thailand Athletics Open, which ended last Friday at the Thammasat Sports Complex track in Bangkok.
Mohd Syahrul, who was a surprise gold medallist in the 2003 Vietnam SEA Games, cleared 7.65m to beat the qualifying mark of 7.52m.
