KUALA BERANG: National cyclist Nor Effandy Rosli staved off a keen fight from foreign riders to win the Kenyir International Mountain Bike Challenge 2005 in Pengkalan Gawi in Kenyir near here on Monday.
Competing in the men's 35 years and above category, he led the field of 31 cyclists from start to finish over the 18km route and finished in a time of 1'10:53 to pocket the winner's purse of RM2,000.
