SHEFFIELD: Peter Ebdon staged an astonishing fightback to send defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan crashing out of the world snooker championship in a nail-biting quarter-final clash on Wednesday.
Ebdon, the eighth-seed and world champion in 2002, came back from 10-6 down to win 13-11 and book a semi-final clash against Shaun Murphy.
