LONDON: UEFA played down on Thursday reports claiming to reveal the extent of Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard’s half-time contact with referee Anders Frisk in February’s Champions League match against Chelsea.
Europe’s ruling body said the information contained in a leaked report about what happened during Barcelona’s 2-1 home win on Feb 23 had been public knowledge for weeks.
