TOKYO: National number one Lee Chong Wei led five others into the men's singles third round of the US$180,000 Japan Open badminton championships at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium here yesterday.
It was, however, a disastrous day for the Malaysian men's doubles players. Out of the five pairs, only Mohamed Fairuzizuan Mohamed Tazari and Lin Woon Fui managed to reach the second round.
