NEW DELHI: The Indian Hockey Federation yesterday banned international players Gagan Ajit Singh and Daljit Dhillon for assaulting a rival player during the recent national championships.
The federation said Gagan Ajit had been banned for three months and Daljit for six months after the duo, representing Punjab state in the premier domestic competition, assaulted Bikramjit Singh of Indian Oil after a match in Hyderabad on March 27.
