KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia have lost their most experienced forward, Ismail Abu, for the six-nation junior invitational tournament which starts at the National Hockey Stadium at Bukit Jalil today.
Ismail picked up a quadriceps injury while playing in a practice match on Friday evening. The Malaysian Hockey Federation (MHF) selectors did not know of the injury when they named Ismail as one of 18 players for the tournament, also on Friday.
