ORLANDO (Florida): Charles Howell III and Stephen Ames were atop the leaderboard in the Bay Hill Invitational on Friday, among only 30 players to complete the second round.
After the first day was cut short by rain, Howell ended a marathon day on Friday with another short birdie putt that gave him rounds of 71-68, giving him a share of the early lead.
