LIVERPOOL: Everton have severed their relationship with a match day sponsor following an on-pitch row with Wayne Rooney just before kick-off in last weekend’s FA Cup tie with Manchester United at Goodison Park.
Two members of the match ball sponsors’ party were seen on TV exchanging words with United striker Rooney who was playing at the ground for the first time since his £27mil transfer to Old Trafford last summer.
