Mandjou’s goal gives champs Perak slender lead

IPOH: Guinean Keita Mandjou saved Perak the blushes with a 33rd minute goal as the defending champions escaped with a hard earned 1-0 win over newcomers MPSJ of Selangor 1-0 in their FA Cup first round, first-leg match at Perak Stadium here last night.

Mandjou, Perak’s leading scorer with four goals under his belt in the Super League, found the net when he latched on to a cross from by the right by skipper Ahmad Shahrul Azhar.
