KUALA LUMPUR: National forward P. Prabhakaran's hopes of featuring for Sapura for the Maharaja Ranjit Singh hockey tournament in New Delhi have been dashed, due to a family tragedy.
Prabhakaran's mother K. Danaletchemy, 49, died yesterday morning in a fire at their house in Jalan Ipoh.
