LONDON: Arsenal midfielder Jermaine Pennant pleaded guilty yesterday to drink-driving and driving while disqualified and was warned he could be sent to jail.
Pennant, 22, who also admitted driving while uninsured, was arrested in Aylesbury, west of London, at around 6am on Jan 23 after his blue Mercedes Benz SL500 was spotted in a car park dragging a lamp post beneath it.
