KUALA LUMPUR: Top Malaysian golfer Danny Chia will have a chance to make thousands of ringgit for charity at next week’s Caltex Masters in Singapore.
Under the “Birdies for Charities” programme, the tournament’s major sponsor Caltex will reward exceptional play by donating funds to the tsunami victims. For all professional golfers in the championship, a birdie will earn S$25 (RM58.50), an eagle S$1,000 (RM2,340) and a hole-in-one S$10,000 (RM23,400).
