Hosts Guangzhou to spend RM91.2bil on infrastructure for 2010 Asian Games


BEIJING: China’s booming southern metropolis of Guangzhou is planning to spend some 200bil yuan (RM91.2bil) on infrastructure in the run-up to the 2010 Asian Games, state press said yesterday. 

Some 10bil yuan will be spent on sports facilities, including the Asian Games Village, Mayor Zhang Guangning was cited by the China Daily as saying.
