KUALA LUMPUR: The Asian Badminton Confederation (ABC) president Dr Kang Young-joong of South Korea has contributed US$100,000 from his own pocket for the tsunami-affected countries in the South East Asian region.
Yesterday, ABC secretary Datuk Punch Gunalan said that Young-joong's donations would be distributed among Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, Maldives and Thailand, who are all badminton-playing nations.
