KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur women's team overcame a gritty challenge from Sarawak to win 72-59 and secure their place in the semi-finals of the 46th Maba-Petronas Agong's Cup Basketball Championships at the Cheras 11th Mile Chinese Secondary School court yesterday.
It was KL's second win in Group A, after their opening 74-65 win over Malacca two days ago. KL join defending champions Selangor from the group in the last four. The semi-finalists from Group B are Perak and Johor.
