KUALA LUMPUR: Top backstroke swimmer Lim Keng Liat is keen on charting a new career path in the sport after he graduates from university in June next year. 

Keng Liat, who was a semi-finalist in the 100m backstroke event in the Athens Olympics in August, hopes to become the country's first professional swimmer.
