KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian number one Nicol David got off to great start in the women’s World Open – needing just 18 minutes to oust Tegwen Malik of Wales in a first round match at the National Squash Centre in Bulit Jalil here yesterday.
Nicol, the world number six, won 9-3, 9-0, 9-3 to set up a second round match against unseeded Alison Waters of England today.
