CAMBODIA are still the strugglers in South-East Asian football.
They have fared poorly in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Tiger Cup tournament since its inception in 1996. The worst was in 1998 when they failed to even make the tournament proper, hosted by Vietnam – bowing out in the qualifying stage.
