ABC to double number of satellite tournaments next year

KUALA LUMPUR: The Asian Badminton Confederation's (ABC) efforts to improve the standard of the game in less developed badminton-playing countries in the region have bore fruit with the surprise victory of Vietnamese Nguyen Tien Minh in the Magnum Malaysian Satellite Badminton Championships. 

And to further increase the standard of the game in those countries, the ABC executive committee, who met yesterday, agreed to double the number of satellite tournaments in the region.
