Hi-Fidelity get tangled up as Mandrake cruise home

PETALING JAYA: Former Olympian Neil Pryde got more than he bargained for when he sailed his 46-foot Hi-Fidelity yacht straight into a fisherman’ net south of Penang in the second leg of the Raja Muda International Regatta yesterday.

The Kiwi was leading the fleet when he got his boat entangled and the time taken to free it cost him a top placing in the Racing Class 1 race from Pangkor to Penang. He finished third in 10’0:57.
