It’s ‘Happy Endings’ for Mahony after all


PETALING JAYA: Singaporean Jonathan Mahony beat former Olympic contender Neil Pryde of New Zealand by nearly two minutes to win the opening race of the 15th Raja Muda International Regatta from Port Klang to Pangkor Island yesterday. 

Mahony arrived in Pangkor on Happy Endings in 15’52:18 while Pryde sailed in on Hi-Fidelity in 15’54:06. Ulumulu of Sarawak, helmed by England’s Bill Nicholls, was placed third in 16’10:18.
