DENVER: United States sprinter Jerome Young was banned for life by the US Anti-Doping Agency on Wednesday following his second positive test for an illegal steroid in a case that could affect a US relay team's gold medal from Sydney.
Young, the world 400m champion in 2003, tested positive for the banned drug EPO at a Paris meet in July, USADA said.
