Tiger to sue yacht maker for ‘Privacy’ violation

FORT LAUDERDALE (Florida): Tiger Woods has filed a lawsuit against the firm that constructed his yacht, saying their unauthorised use of his name and pictures of him could result in damages up to US$50mil.

The lawsuit, filed here a week ago, charges that Christensen Shipyards has used Wood s name and likeness and that of his yacht “Privacy” in advertising with the hope of building upon Woods’ celebrity to boost business.
