MELBOURNE: The Australian Grand Prix posted a multi-million dollar loss last year and continues to need subsidies from the Victorian state government to operate, the annual report of the events corporation said on Wednesday.
State Premier Steve Bracks said in the 2003-2004 fiscal, the race at Albert Park lost A$12.6mil (US$9.45mil).
