MADRID: Marat Safin sent over 14 aces and devastated David Nalbandian with six breaks of serve yesterday to win his second career trophy in Spain with a title at the 2.425-million-euro Madrid Masters.
Four years after lifting the Barcelona title on clay, Safin crushed Argentine fourth seed Nalbandian 6-2, 6-4, 6-3, to win another event in Spain.
