KUALA LUMPUR: The government has agreed to provide financial aid to help the country's top rally driver Karamjit Singh in his bid to win the FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) title.
The Youth and Sports Minister, Datuk Azalina Othman Said, said yesterday that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had agreed to help Karamjit and his co-driver, Allen Oh, who are a shot away from regaining the title they won in 2002.
