LAGOS: The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is to launch an investigation into crowd trouble which resulted in several deaths at African World Cup qualifiers at the weekend.
We deeply regret the sad events in Togo and Liberia and CAF President, Issa Hayatou, has extended his condolences to the families of the victims, said the football ruling body's director of communications Sulaimanu Habuba on Tuesday.
