ROME: Juventus held onto first place in Serie A with an unspectacular 1-0 victory at Udinese on Sunday, but their joy at maintaining the lead in Italy was tempered by a serious injury to striker David Trezeguet.
The France international dislocated his shoulder in the narrow win in Udine and was replaced for the start of the second half by Marcelo Zalayeta.
