RIO DE JANEIRO: Showing a rebellious side he never revealed as a young man, Pele, the “King” of football, told football players on Wednesday that they should go on strike if they need to defend their rights.
“All other (professional) groups go on strike, but football players - no,” he said. “If they paralysed the championship for two or three dates, chaos would break out.”
