LONDON: Chelsea have been cleared to build a new multi-million pound training ground that will rival the best in Europe, the Premier League club said yesterday.
Chelsea, who currently train at Imperial College facilities near Heathrow Airport, are to develop a 3,338 square metre site in Cobham, southwest of London, combining a main building and 15 football pitches, three of them with undersoil heating.
