PENANG: The Panthers took a giant step towards the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals with their third straight win in Group B and Negri Sembilan, who were thrashed 5-1 at the City Stadium, have conceded that there is only one berth to fight for in the group.
With Perak, Negri Sembilan and defending champions Selangor MPPJ also in the fray, it was considered the group of death. Yet, Penang have been playing with impunity.
