PETALING JAYA: A late charge saw Malaysias Karamjit Singh grab the overall lead after the first day of the Japan leg of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) in Hokkaido yesterday.
Karamjit had made a poor start and ended in fifth position after the 11th special stage, which was the first leg of the APRC.
