Nafiizwan and Asyraf clear first round hurdles

ISLAMABAD: Malaysians Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan and Mohd Asyraf Azan qualified for the second round of the World Junior Squash Championships in here yesterday. 

Mohd Nafiizwan defeated Mohammad Jafari of Iran 9-0, 9-0, 9-0 while Mohd Asyraf had to dig deep into his reserves before overcoming Dutch player Bastiaan Meulenbelt 8-10, 9-3, 4-9, 9-2, 9-1 in their respective first round matches.
