LIVERPOOL: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger challenged his team to remain unbeaten for a second successive season after seeing his players launch the defence of their Premiership title with a comprehensive 4-1 victory against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Goals from Dennis Bergkamp, Jose Antonio Reyes, Freddie Ljungberg and Robert Pires proved too much for Everton, who claimed a second half consolation goal through Lee Carsley.
