PETALING JAYA: Defending champion Toshiyuki Hamaguchi of Japan will start from pole position in Round Three of the SuperSports 600cc class of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship at the Johor Circuit in Pasir Gudang today despite having to sit out yesterday's second timed practice session.
The Japanese rider was recuperating from a heavy crash during the first timed practice on Friday.
