TEL AVIV: Israel's Bnei Sakhnin, the first Arab side to play in a UEFA competition, notched a 3-0 home win over Partizani Tirana of Albania in their UEFA Cup second qualifying round first leg clash on Thursday.
Sakhnin went ahead through captain Abbas Suan after 16 minutes of their debut appearance. Two goals by Nigerian forward Agoye Alumide in the 33rd and 54th minutes then gave them a healthy cushion for the return leg in two weeks' time.
