SEOUL: South Korea will relay satellite broadcasts of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Athens Olympics and other highlights from the games to North Korea for free, a television official said yesterday.
In the past, the impoverished North has pirated footage of important sporting events rather than pay for broadcast rights.
