KUALA LUMPUR: Four-time Asian champion Nicol David played her heart out to pull off the biggest upset win of her career – beating world number seven Linda Charman of England to reach the final of the Malaysian Women’s Open squash tournament at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil yesterday.
The fourth seeded Nicol, who is ranked eighth in the world, showed nerves of steel to score her first win over Charman in their sixth encounter.
