PIURA: Mexico coach Ricardo Lavolpe has threatened to resign following Sunday's 4-0 Copa America quarter-final defeat by Brazil, the second time in the tournament he has considered quitting.
Lavolpe did not appear at the post-match news conference but was reported to have told an Argentine television station in the car park: I'm going to tell to the president of the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) that I'm leaving the way open for someone else.
