Lance’s bid for win overshadowed by drug claims

LIEGE (Belgium): Five-time winner Lance Armstrong will saddle up for tomorrow's Tour de France prologue knowing that his bid for a sixth, record-setting victory might be one he would rather forget.

Armstrong, and not Germany's five-time runner-up Jan Ullrich, is still the favourite to win the race and overtake the record of Spaniard Miguel Indurain, the first five-time consecutive winner, when the July 3-25 race begins in the Belgian city of Liege.
