BUENOS AIRES: Diego Maradona has shed over 20kg (44 pounds) in weight since being hospitalised in Argentina for cocaine addiction.
His personal doctor Alfredo Cahe told local radio on Thursday that the Argentina World Cup winner, who tipped the scales at over 100kg (220 pounds) before going into hospital, had lost between 20kg and 21.5kg.
