PETALING JAYA: Swimmer Lim Keng Liat emerged triumphant again yesterday – he was named the Sportswriters Association of Malaysia’s (SAM) 2003 Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive year.
The Sabah-born Keng Liat received the award, worth RM5,000, from Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at a ceremony yesterday. He flew back from the United States to receive the award.
