Our spikers end campaign without a win

FUKUOKA: Japan showed strength against South-East Asian countries when their second-string national side outgunned Indonesia to retain the Asia Pacific Cup men's volleyball tournament here yesterday.

The Japanese defending champions posted a 25-23, 25-11, 25-23 victory in a top-of-the-table battle against Indonesia to wind up the six-team round-robin with five straight wins, never losing a single set in five matches.
