VILAMOURA: Russia, the first country eliminated from Euro 2004, vowed yesterday to reward their thousands of travelling fans by beating Greece tomorrow.
“We only have pride to play for now but we will not be forgiven for any lack of effort against Greece,” assistant coach Alexander Borodyuk told fans at a meeting in a luxury Algarve hotel.
