DELAWARE (United States): Malaysia's only women touring golf pro Lim Siew Ai posted her best finish in the McDonald's LPGA Championship when she tied for 23rd spot with six other golfers at Dupont Country Club on Sunday.
Siew Ai carded 71 and 72 in the third and fourth rounds respectively to finish with a four-day total of one-over 285, 14 strokes behind Annika Sorenstam of Sweden.
Sorenstam, who carded 64 and 72 in the last two rounds, took the title by three strokes over South Korea's Ahn Shi-hyun.
Siew Ai, who collected US$83,730 (RM318,174) for finishing in joint second position in the Kellogg Keebler Classic last week, pocketed US$14,596 (RM55,464) for her efforts.
The McDonald's LPGA Championship is one of the four majors in women's golf.
